The- Faithful stand,
(While the Celebrant is being vested and proceeds towards the main Altar, the Choir sings):
CH. O Mystery profound, incomprehensible, without beginning, the Lord has arrayed the Kingdom above as a chamber unto the Light inapproachable and adorned with glory beyond compare. With ineffably wondrous power He has created Adam as His sovereign image, and vested him with gracious glory in the paradise of Eden, in the place of delights.
O Heavenly King, preserve your church unshaken, and keep those who invoke Your name in peace.
Preparation at the foot of the Altar
(The priest, the deacons, the servers at the foot of the Altar)
Prayers at the beginning of Mass:
C. For the sake of the Holy Mother of God, receive our prayers, O Lord, and save us.
D. Let us make the Holy Mother of God and all the Saints intercessors with the Father in Heaven, that He may have mercy on us and save us, His creatures. Almighty Lord, our God, save us and have mercy on us.
C. Receive, O Lord, our prayers, through the intercession of the Holy Mother of God, the Immaculate Mother Of Your only begotten Son, and through the intercession of all your Saints ' hear us, O Lord, and have mercy,- forgive, blot out, and remit our sins. Make us worthy to glorify You with thanks, together with Your Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen,
I confess before God, and before the Holy Mother of God, and before all the Saints, and before you, fathers and brothers, all the sins I have committed. For I have sinned in thought, word and deed and in every way common to man. I pray you to ask God's forgiveness for me.
D. May God Almighty have mercy on you and grant you forgiveness of all your trespasses, past and present; and may He deliver you from them in time to come; may He confirm you in every good work, and give you rest in the life to come. Amen.
C. May God, who loves mankind, free you also and forgive you all your sins; may He grant you time to do penance and good works. May God, the all-powerful and all-merciful, guide your future life by the grace of the Holy Spirit; and to Him be glory forever. Amen.
D. Remember us also before the immortal Lamb of God.
C. May you be remembered before the immortal Lamb of God. I will go to the Altar of God, to God who gives joy to my youth.
D. Do me justice, God, and defend my cause in the judgment,
C. Rescue me from a nation not holy, and from the deceitful sinner.
D. You, God, are my strength, why have You forgotten me? Why must I go about in sadness as my foes afflict me?
C. Send forth, Lord, Your light and Your truth that they may lead me and bring me to Your Holy Hill and to Your Tabernacles.
D. I will go to the Altar of God, to God Who gives joy to my youth
C. I will confess to You with praise, God, my God.
D. Why are you sad, my soul, and why do you trouble me? Trust in God; confess yourself unto Him; the salvation of my countenance is God.
C. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
D. Now and forever and ever. Amen. Let us pray the Lord in peace. Let us bless the Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ, Who has made us worthy to stand in this place of praise and to sing spiritual songs- Almighty Lord, our God, save us and have mercy on us.
(The Celebrant approaches the Altar)
C. In this Holy Abode and in this place of praise, in this dwelling of angels and in this Temple of expiation for men, bowing down before these Divine and glorious signs and the Holy Table we worship with reverence, and glorify Your Holy, wonderful and triumphant Lordship, and we bless it, And we give praise and glory to You with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and forever and ever. Amen.
(The curtain is drawn and the Celebrant blesses the offerings of bread and wine.)
The Faithful sit,
CH. When You enter the Holy Sanctuary, there remember our departed ones. When You offer the sacrifice, remember me, a great sinner, that Christ may be merciful to us at His second coming. Glory be to the Father, honour to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and forever and ever.
Christ be blessed of all people for ever and ever.
D. Let us pray the Lord in peace. Receive, save us and have mercy on us.
C. Blessing and praise to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, now and forever and ever. Amen. In remembrance of the redeeming Incarnation of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,
God, our God, who has sent the Heavenly Bread, our Lord, Jesus Christ, the nourishment of the whole world, as Redeemer and Saviour and Benefactor to bless and sanctify us; do, Lord, Yourself, now bless these offerings,- receive them on your Heavenly Altar, Remember in Your goodness and mercy, as Benefactor, those who offer and those for whom these are offered, and keep us guiltless in the holy ministry of Your divine Mysteries; for holy and glorious is the awesome majesty of the glory of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, now and forever and ever. Amen.
(After the blessing of the Offerings, the curtain is opened and the Celebrant incenses the Altar and the Faithful. The Choir sings Parekhosoutiarnp.)
The Faithful stand,
CH. the intercession of Your Virgin Mother, O Christ, through Your Holy Blood made the Holy Church brighter than the Heavens, accept the implications of Your servants. That also You have ordained within her, after the pattern of the heavenly hosts, the Orders of Apostles, of prophets and holy teachers. Today we, orders of priests, deacons, clerks and clerics, are gathered to offer incense before God, O Lord, as Zechariah did in olden days, Accept from us our prayers through offerings of incense, as the sacrifice of Abel, of Noah, and of Abraham. Through the intercession of Your heavenly hosts maintain the Throne of Armenia unshaken.
D. Bless us, Lord.
