Offertory

(TheDeacon transfers the offerings from the side Altar to the main Altar in procession while the choir sings Marmin Deroonaoan.)

The Faithful stand,

D.         Let none of the Catechumens, none of little faith and none of  the penitents, nor of the unclean, draw near unto this Divine  Mystery.

CH.      The Body of the Lord and the Blood of the Saviour are here present. The Heavenly Hosts invisibly ring and say with unceasing voice: Holy, holy, holy, Lord of Hosts,

D.         Sing psalms unto our Lord God, you servers, sing spiritual songs  with a sweet voice.

CH.      With Angelic orders.

The Celebrant washes his hands,

C.         Lord, God of hosts and Creator of all beings, Who brought all things out of nothing into existence and for Your love for mankind honouring our earthly nature, raised it to the ministry of so awesome and so ineffable a mystery. You, Lord, to Whom we offer this Sacrifice, accept from us this our present gift and consummate it into the Sacrament of the Body and Blood of Your only begotten Son. Give this Bread and this Cup to us who taste of it as a remedy for forgiveness of sins, through the grace and love of our Lord and Redeemer Jesus Christ, to Whom as to You, Father, and to Your Holy Spirit is due glory, power and honour now and forever and ever, Amen.

Kiss of Peace

The Faithful stand.

C.         Peace be with you all.

CH.      And with your spirit.

D.         Let us bow down before God.

CH.      In Your presence: Lord.

Now, you ministers, lift up your voices and with one accord bless The One Godhead, to Whom the Seraphim sing the thrice holy song,

The Faithful sit.

Preface and Sanctus

D.         The doors, the doors.
Lift up your minds with divine reverence in the fear of God,

CH.      We have raised them to You, Lord Almighty.

D.         And give thanks to the Lord with all your heart!

CH.      It is just and right!

The Faithful stand,

C.         (inaudible) It is truly just and right always with alert diligence to adore and glorify You, Father Almighty, Who removed by Your inscrutable and co-creating Word the hindrance of the curse, Who elected the Church as Your new People, adopted those who believe in You, and deigned to dwell among us in a visible nature taken from the womb of the Virgin; and, divinely carrying out a new work, made a Heaven of earth, for us, before Whom the legions of Angels dare not stand, dazzled by the flashing and unapproachable Light of the Godhead, became man for our salvation and qranted us the right to sing with the Celestial Choirs, and with Seraphim and Cherubim to make holy and harmonious melody, to shout confidently and cry out with them, and say:

Sanctus

CH.      Holy, holy, holy Lord of Hosts. Heaven and earth are full of Your glory
Blessing in the Highest! Blessed be You Who came and are to come,
in the Name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.

C.         (inaudible) Holy, holy, holy are You, truly and most holy. And Who may presume to express in words the outpouring of Your immense tenderness to us You at the very beginning cared for man fallen in sin and consoled him in wonderful ways: by the Prophets, by the Law, by the Priesthood and by the offering of the symbolic heifers. And at the end of the appointed days, bringing to naught the sentence for all our debts, You gave Your only begotten Son, both Debtor and Debt, Victim and Anointed, Lamb and Heavenly Bread, Priest and Sacrifice. For it is He Who gives and is constantly given among us without being consurned. For having become Man in reality and not in semblance and being incarnate in the womb of the Virgin Mary, Mother of God, by union, not by confusion, He walked among all the passions of human life, free from sin, and of His own free will went to the Cross, which gives life to the world and redemption to us.

Consecration

C.         Taking the bread in His holy, divine, stainless and creative hands, He blessed it, gave thanks, broke it, gave it to his chosen, holy Disciples seated with Him, saying:

Take this and eat, this is My Body, which is given for you and for many for the expiation and forgiveness of sins.

CH.      Amen.

C.         In like manner, having taken the cup, He blessed it, gave thanks, drank, gave it to His chosen, holy Disciples seated with Him, saying:

Drink you all of this, this is the Blood of my Now Covenant, which is shed for you and for many for the expiation and forgiveness of sins.

CH.      Amen.

CH.      Heavenly Father, Who did give Your Son unto death for us, Debtor for our debts, by the shedding of His Blood, we beseech You, have mercy upon Your people.

C.         (Inaudible) And descending into the depths of death through the Body which He took from our nature, and having victoriously broken down the bars of hell, made You known to us as the only True God, God of the living and the dead.

Anamnesis or Remembrance and Offering of the Sacrifice

C.         (inaudible) And Your only begotten Son has commanded us always to do this in memory of Him. We therefore, Lord, obeying this command and offering this saving mystery of the Body and Blood of Your only begotten Son, recall His redeeming sufferings for us, His life-giving crucifixion, His burial for three days, His blessed Resurrection, His ascension as God, and His sitting at Your right hand, Father, and we confess and bless His awful and glorious coming for the second time.

C.         And we offer Your own gifts unto You, in all and for all.

The Faithful sit.

CH.      In all things you are blessed, Lord, we bless You, we praise you, we give thanks to You; we implore You, Lord our God.

C.         (inaudible) We justly praise You, Lord our God, and thank You at all times, for, without regard to our unworthiness, You made us ministers of a Sacrament so awesome and ineffable. It is not by any merit of our own, of which we are so bereft and always destitute, but rather by unfailing trust in Your overflowing indulgence, that we dare to approach the Ministry of the Body and Blood of Your only begotten Son, our Lord and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, to Whom is due glory, power and honour now and forever and ever. Amen.

Epiclesis or Invocation of The Holy Spirit

C.         Peace be with you all.

to bless this Cup and make it the real Blood of our Lord and Redeemer, Jesus Christ;

to bless this Bread and this Wine and make them the True Body and Blood of our Lord and Redeemer, Jesus Christ; consecrating them by Your Holy Spirit,

that it may be to us all who approach unto it, not a condemnation, but an expiation and forgiveness of sins.
